Why Iceland? Bjork, of course!

Before Iceland became an "it" tourist destination and I was still a freshman in high school, I was completely obsessed with the Icelandic singer Bjork (best known in the U.S. for the swan dress
she wore on the red carpet. Sigh.) She has created incredibly music for the past three decades and, to go along with the music, some absolutely stunning music videos. The music video for her song "Joga" off of her album Homogenic features the Icelandic landscape and is absolutely awe-inspiring. The video was created in 1997 so the graphics might leave a little something to be desired from our modern day perspective, but the song is gorgeous and the vast wilderness of Iceland is just stunning.
